Hi everybody,

I am Gazardiel av Poppyfield (Thor for mum and friends) and I am Kaja’s brother. When my First Mother, Mrs. Kari Svendsen, decided that Kaja should go to Romania I thought : how can I let my little sister travel to such a far away country and be all alone in this big world. They don’t call me Thor for nothing! Being such a charmer (modest, am I not?) I convinced another lady to take me. You should have seen her : she begged and begged my First Mother to let me go that she ended up almost crazy; rumors say she was so desperate to get me that she pulled her hair, she talked to herself and she did all kind of strange things! Well now, this was just an act, my First Mother and I played just to make her think that I was a royal blood afghan and she just a poor humble servant and that we did her a big favor to let her have me! This strategy worked because now when I am in Romania she doesn’t utter not even a word when I chew a rhododendron (her favorite plant) or pee in her bed(!).

The good part is that since my arrival in Romania I can keep an eye on my little sister and don’t let anyone harm her. We play together whenever we can, ruin my new mum’s garden (she calls us her little Huns), drive everybody nuts (for me everything I do is just a normal thing, although sometimes I see my mum praying God to give her patience, I wonder why? ), but I know for sure that one day I will make it up for every bad thing I did and be as famous as my ancestors and make everybody proud of me.

By the way, my name is that of an angel (funny isn’t it me being a little devil!) who holds dominion of the rising sun, who promises new beginnings, represents innocence, renewal, awakening and enlightenment.
